Icon5 Removing Cruise Control

I really want to remove my cruise control for three reasons:
1: I never use it
2: I don't trust it
3: It's ugly

My question is not how to remove it, but if I did, could my car pass inspection without it? And would there be any major possibility of it messing anything up? I live in Virginia Beach, if that helps. The reason I ask is my mom doesn't want me to do it for the above reasons, and she thinks I'll mess it up. I know I won't, but I want some kind of evidence to prove to her that it would be ok to remove it.

Just don't let her see under your hood. Part of the deal of me getting the 5th gen was to not modify it since I had done stuff with the 4th. Well, after a little time, it was ok'ed to change the wheels but that was supposed to be it. Let's just say with the stuff either on or taken out of my engine bay wouldn't make for a very nice conversation.
I don't know anything other than basics on emissions with inspection since I don't have them but I imagine you'd be alright since removing it doesn't interfere with anything on the car.

ya if you take it off you will be fine, its pretty self explanatory once you look at what you need to do...they made cars without cruise control, its just a luxary and wont mess with inspections
