not sure what body kit you should buy....but i can tell you to just do what you think looks best for your cars appearence, and your taste...like me, i plan to get the greddy front bumper, and then search for the best side skirts and rear bumper to match...just search all out man, until you find what you want...

Although everyone does it, OEM, Mugen or WWRS. They're the only ones that look any good. Some members have had success with mixing and matching as well.

Don't ever buy anything fiber glass I know it is an obvious one but fiber glass sucks!!! Wings west has a ok selection, depends on what you are looking for.

the lines on the 5th gen flow very well, body kits tend to disturb that. OEM bumpers w/ various lip kits work best.
wings west
OEM
Greddy

Fiber glass falls apart; my front bumper is a fiber glass replica. If you plan to do any around town driving, don't expect it to hold up. When it breaks it also falls off in chunks not just cracking. It is easy to fix but I would rather have something I know is going to last. Some may have had good experiences with it, but for a dd it is not good at all!

I'm a big fan of the OEM/JDM look... just put a lip kit on, rims, and an aggressive stance.. looks good to me lol

I do have a buddy with a '97 and he was picking between an R34 style and Black Widow Style Body Kit.. both looked pretty good for a kit tho..

Good Luck!
