Maintenance??

Thanks alot guys for answering those other questions. Also is they maintenance supposed to be high on a prelude? The reason why I was concerned with the 97-98 models is that I had read that in the suspension certain ball joints could wear out prematurely, sudden and dangerous abnormal amounts of oil could leak, and 5th gear grinds, and maybe Im mistaken but the synchros in second gear are deffective as well? Again I'm not saying all this is true but its what Ive read and was just curious if anyone had actually experienced this. Also waht kind of gas milage have you guys been able to get i know the Honda says like 22/26 or something along those lines

i cant answer all the questions... but i dont think the oil leaks... its when you hit vtec that the oil is consumed... and average gas mileage is around 25/27, atleast that what i get when i dont drive like a maniac!

My 5th gear on my 97 SH grinds...........I just double clutch and then it only does it like 10% of the time.

And yes, H22's eat oil.

As for balljoints, THAT I don't know about, but both of my inner tie-rod ends are slightly loose (and have been).

My 5th gear also grinds so I have to double clutch everytime and the oil leaks I am assuming they're talking about is the rear main seal(oil sending unit) leaking I also have that problem on my car
