5th Gen Short Shift Thread

Ive been one a couple of sites now where I've seen short throw shifters for the 5th gen, I know I've seen the expensive ones that are made y the guys with CNC Machines like forbidden, but whats to say a company like Fidanza making one isn't good?

I'd like to keep this thread as clean as possible if we can, i think this will help me and others understand where to find products,

Heres the Fidanza short shifter i spoke of, it seems so much more inexpensive than the prices of others, i ask why? it appears as though all you get is the like bar, i guessing you'll need more?

heres the oBX one, i know you guys despise OBX, now I'm not saying i like them either, but can this be a true SS? or am i being fooled and its an adapter?

if anyone else finds anything post up!

Those are both adapters. Not Short Shifters as the title would imply.

The only True Short Shifters made for the 5th gen were or are the Lean-Racing (discontinued for years now, I own one), PSpec (1st gen discontinued I believe), PSpec (2nd gen. just released), and hopefully the soon to be released Forebidden one.

Other than that your just looking at adapters sorry to say. I have had a couple friends run into problems with adapters and took them off their cars.

Again is an adapter. I bought my car and found one on there. I hate it. I want a lean or a forbidden. Not a fan of the pspecs.

The new PSPEC (and the old one as well) is definitely not an adaptor. It is a true short shifter with adjustable height and throws... Whatever you found on your car was not a pspec.

I know that pspec is a true short shifter. I don't know, I like the new shifters that pspec has. I might get one of those. first time I checked the site out in months.
