They are OEM. So if you have an OEM exhaust on there now, they aren't too thin, they can't be any thinner than what you have now. Basically... look at your exhaust right now... those tips wouldn't look any different shape or fitment wise... they would just be either shinier or gold. They might stick out farther than your stock OEM muffler tips do, but I don't think they would stick out farther than your bumper.

Haha man trust me I know the feeling. I wish I could have my old exhaust back...

The popo in va beach are nazis for anything not oem - at least when it comes to cars. They could give a crap less about those trucks with exhaust systems louder than my sound system. I got pulled over once and this cop was an ass about my muffler. I made it sound like I didn't know what he was talking about, and he was like, "If I catch you driving around here again, you're getting a ticket." I was in my neighborhood. MY NEIGHBORHOOD for crying out loud. And it was at night with noone else on the road, I wasn't speeding, and I definatly wasn't giving it enough gas to be loud. I wish they had better things to do than be annoying. So my parents made me get it replaced with an oem one.

well there are aftermarket dual tipped & blk matted mufflers that are stealthy & quiet. I have the oem muffler, and I just metal polish the removable tips every now and then.....sounds like the po-po would pull-pull you over even for a *ricer* mod like shiny aftermarket tips?

its all of VA, I'm from Roanoke and got pulled for exhaust, funny thing was I was on the way to work and this policeman thought I was a young teenager, ha ha, ha no offense but I'm 35 and I was on my way to work. The policeman felt really stupid, plus he apologized to me for pulling me over. He said he saw my sticker on the back window (Combat Veteran Operation Iraqi Freedom) he said they don't like to harass veteran's I said no problem your only doing your job.

I am thinking about pulling my muffler off and throwing a 3 baffle (chamber) Flowmaster on. I'm going to have to replace the whole exhaust anyways soon after my build so I don't want to get anything too exspensive for right now.

Sorry for the book Hijacking,,,,, back on topic

There are a few tips at places like Auto Zone or Advanced Auto but I'm afraid you may have to do some cutting or welding to make them look nice and flush with the bumper. Good luck

Actually they will, I have a few friends that are police here and they look for big shinny exhaust tips on the back of import cars, they use this as a tool to try and find street racers. They will even look for something else wrong on your car to warrant the traffic stop.

well they can not pull you over for having muffler tips...they really can not pull you over for having an aftermarket exhaust, unless it is at a higher decibel level than the oem exhaust on that particular car...if they do get the db level of your specific car, and the db level your aftermarket exhaust, and if its the same as or less than oem, then your not breaking the law(in VA)read the law itself, its clear as day... Also, what the hell happended to my pics up here???
