Exhaust/Cat Fitment

Hey boys and girls. Onward to the next big project. I have already purchased my Random Tech Cat, and was thinking about getting the Greddy SP2, until I was informed that its being discontinued. So, i changed to the Apexi WS2. Has anyone with this setup run into any issues with fitment between the header-cat, cat-exhaust? Are they all basically the same size?

just make sure the inside diameter is the same and u should be fine. if thats what ur asking or are you talking about the bolts lining up

if you have a grinding wheel (air tool, or dremel) you should make the inside of the flanges match up perfectly for a uniform flow.

I am too curious as to wether or not you finished your exhaust.

And about my "exhaust" (Durl, I think you meant Suspension)....
Maaaaaaaaybe my car is at the shop getting alligned right now...maybe not. Maybe I'm taking pictures when I get home tonight. Maybe not...Haha

Long story short mate if you buy a Prelude exhaust it will fit. If you don't grind down the flanges it won't flow as smoothly. Probably won't make much of a difference in the grand scheme of things, but it wouldn't hurt.

The only difference between the an SH exhaust and a non SH exhaust is the length of the cat. The SH cats are shorter. But this is no problem for any competant welder who can shorten a bolt on exhaust if required.

Well, the thing is, I got the Random Tech cat "SH only" so I dont think welding will be a problem...
BTW, does it have to be welded on? Or can it be bolted on...?
