Lemme guess...Yet another attack of the Silver Stars on an unsuspecting Luder?
Piece of advice...I know ONE Luder who has survived on silver stars...and thats Ogs...anyone else (including myself) have gone through countless silver stars. Do a search through the forum and you should find everything youre lookin for man. And for god sakes...DONT GET SILVERSTARS HAHA. We've all been there homeboy.'

**EDIT** P.S. You wouldnt happen to be touching the bulb with your bare hands when installing them would you? Touchy + Halogen = Sad Luder

I've heard of two who haven't had issues with the silverstars.

But as poop said, (and yes I realise this is incredibly obvious ) but don't touch the bulb with your fingers, if you do wipe it with rubbing alcohol. Also check the connections on your light plugs. Sometimes that's been known to cause trouble.

Ahhh theres nothing like starting your car in the dark and its 30 deg outside, only to turn on your headlights and have them both blow at the same time...and THEN to have your high beams go on the way home. Laame I had to light my way home with my foggies and big blue LEDs HAH.

I have been lucky with my silver stars so far (knock on wood) but I cringed when I had to buy them b/c I couldn't afford the Nokya's I wanted.

Ok, this is a little off subject of headlights, but is there a way to aim JDM fogs on a 5th Gen? my passenger side fog blinds people.

Yes, there is actually. Take your turn signal out, and on the top middle of the foggy bracket, there should be a big screw. Thats the adjustment screw. Unfortunately, I don't believe theres a way to aim them horizontally, only up and down.

My silverstars only lasted 1.5 years but actually only 1 bulb blew and I never touched them with bare fingers. So I just put the regular H1's back in.

I guess I should have read ahead, but I thought I would put this out there, sorry if someone already replied.

Don't handle the new bulbs w/ your bare hands the oil from you hands get on the bulb and when they heat up that oil creates hot spots on the glass and blow. Its always best to buy some laytax gloves without that powder stuff in them those things are aweful. I would say that is your problem with the sylvania bulbs, I have had my bulbs in for some time now and no problems well now I have a moisture problem in the passanger side headlight.

* So I'm looking for stock replacement* sorry to hi jack the thread, I'll post that up in WTB

Also, if your headlight housing is loose, the vibrations can cause bulbs to burn out reallly fast. My passenger side had a busted mount and I couldn't keep that bulb in there for more than 2 weeks before it went TU.
