Newbie question.. OEM Spoiler

whats up people, wanted to tell you guys that I had a problem with my car (as I stated back then) turning off by itself and it stayed on when I pull the key out.. you guys were saying that it was probably some fuel problems or maybe I just forgot what somebody in the last post told me to do.. anyways, the problem was the ignition switch. Just to let you guys know in case any symtoms like I've stated before happened to you guys.. Anyways back to the point why I started the thread, I've happened to get an oem replacement spoiler in ficus green pearl for 90 bucks and i wanted to know like how difficult is it to install it. Since I'm a newbie, you think i can install it myself or do you recommend the dealer installs it for me? Any advice would be really helpful...

he also needs to drill 4 holes in his trunk if they aren't already there.
the question is... how comfortable are you with drilling holes into your trunk?

Chat with Drew, he did it not that long ago. I'm sure it's not quite as easily done as drill five holes.

Its a base model so no it doesnt have any holes.. im just kinda freakin out cuz of the fact that if it comes out not in place.. i know i have to be very precise drilling holes into my trunk.. Also, front of the box says to get the instruction manual from the store assuming that I bought it from the store.. I think I might as well drive 20 miles to the nearest honda dealer to grab a hold of it. They'll also tell me how to connect the light plug or where to locate it I assume..

get a large sheet of paper... and put it over the underside of the spoiler.. mark where the holes are, and then put that on your trunk and you'll know where to drill.

Drew got a shop to put his on though since they had to paint it as well. It's not hard though. Just make sure your measurements are precise or else it will be crooked and look retarded.
