H22a4 compatibility
Hi Last week I was driving on the highway when I noticed my engine was not running proper. It was lacking power and vibrating, then cel came on and started flashing. I got home and checked the codes. P1399,p0300,p0301,p0302,p0303 and p0304 basically misfires in all cylinders. So I figured maybe timing belt skipped a tooth. Ripped it apart and timing was fine so decided to check compression (210,210,210,55). It's obvious something was wrong in cylinder 4 which had compression of 55. I tried a wet test and the compression went up to 60 which leads me to believe it's the head since it not a significant increase. Picked up a used head for $48 at the local salvage yard and just waiting on gaskets to install it. I'm thinking I might go back and take the block as well since it's the only prelude available for parts in my area. The question I have is my car is a a 2000 base with manual transmission but the salvage car has an automatic transmission will the block be compatible with my manual tranny?
