IMMOBILIZER OR IGNITION?
Been a while guys. wORKING ON A 99 AUTOMATIC WITH THE h23a. iT HAD THE h22 ORIGINALLY. eVERY ONCE IN A WHILE THE GREEN KEY IMMOBILIZER WILL KILL THE ENGINE. iS IT USUALLY THE IGNITION SWITCH OR THE IMMOBILIZER. iGNition looks like it's got those snap off factory screws. Don't know if it was ever changed. Had the key reset for 85 bucks from the locksmith but got the same problem.Does a new immobilizer need to be reset again and what else keywise do I need if i replace the ignition switch? Thanks!
