CV Axle Change: Accord Intermediate Shaft

Hello guys! So I decided to change my cv axle on the driver side of my 97 MT Lude because I found out that both of my boots had ripped. I managed to take off everything and pull out the axle. Upon pulling out the axle I noticed that the axle had both male ends and after a quick search I found out that my lude has an Accord intermediate shaft.
Anyways, would a 97 accord cv axle work for what I need? I was considering using a prelude passenger side cv axle considering that it has both male ends and would theoretically fit but I found out that the 5g prelude passenger side is about 3/5 of an inch longer than a 97 accord cv axle
I'm desperate to find out what axle it is but my online research points me to several different things and I don't want to have to experiment with cv axles because it would be a huge waste of money and time
Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

Re: CV Axle Change: Accord Intermediate Shaft

Get a prelude axle. The bearing holding the intermediate shaft doesn't move as the block has bolt holes to mount it to. So regardless of the intermediate shaft you'll be best served with a Prelude axle.

Pretty much got flamed for driving like a jackass and was told to slow down. And I'll be damned, slowing down fixed it.
