Quick question about motor mounts

i need to replace the mounts on my 99 lude, the thing is, upon my searching everyone talks about the innovative mounts and it seems those are more geared toward performance but i was looking for something more toward comfort, if that's possible. is that pretty much just sticking to oem or is there a more reputable after market brand? thanks guys

I disagree. I've seen those cheapo mounts off ebay tear out after just a few months. I always try to go OEM if I can. If not, Beck/Arnley makes nice ones also.

Re: Quick question about motor mounts

Innovative mounts have issues.

More issues than your common Prelude owner can wrap their head around.

Re: Quick question about motor mounts

^ Energy Suspension engine mount inserts wont dampen engine vibrations either so they make dash vibrate

these products are too hard for daily use so theyre more for racing

so the best route for the best dampening is to go oem, right?

Drivers mount is welded together at an incorrect position, causing strain on the bushings and eventually stretching/breaking the urethane down.

The bolt sleeves are also drilled out a size larger than they should be. Causing engine clunking and more stress on the mount bushings.

I have a full writeup on Power. It's been an uphill battle for the past 4 years dealing with them.
