the connectors for the fog lights should be in the bumper connected to the wiring harness that your bumper/turn signals are on.

all you do is take the 3 nuts off that connect the spring hat thru the shock tower, place strut bar on top, and replace the nuts.

so that is not the fog connector then.

the tower place i was thinking i guess is the jdm? one or something, because i remember reading somewhere about it needing a additional part that wasnt on the car or something....I'll keep looking...anyone else have a idea on what the connector is for?

Hit it with a multi meter. Then with somebody watching it, turn the ignition on, flick switches and press buttons until you can work out what it is.

You're on the money there, the Type S strut brace can only be fitted to an non-ATTS Prelude if you buy the adaptor.

You don't need to add the two bolts for a tower brace unless you're installing a JDM Type S brace....actually you would need to buy new Honda "top hats" with the extra studs already made on them. All other strut braces use the 3 existing bolts per side.

Hmm, never saw that plug before, maybe when i get out of work today I'll look under my hood and see if I see it... that's interesting. Anyone know what this plug is?

As far as those bolts go, the two missing bolts where the black covers are... i believe on the Type S there are bolts there for the Type S specific strut tower brace. Most other third party strut tower braces don't require those two bolts... i think it's just the Type S brace that needs them.
