Will these wheels fit????

I just bought a 1998 Prelude and I got a ridiculous deal on some Varrstoen ES6s that I'm hoping I can get to fit. The rims are 18x9.5 +35 with stretched 215/40r18 tires. Here's the problem- the wheels are a 5x100...so, I have to use a 5x114.3 to 5x100 adapter. The options for adapters are either 3/4in (19mm) or 1in (25mm) wide reducing the offset to +16 or +10. Has anyone been successful with a fitment like that? I believe the car is lowered 1.75-2in. I am open to rolling/pulling fenders just hoping this is possible..

That better be one hell of a deal. Are you getting the wheels for free?
