Wheel size

So I have read and searched tons of threads about wheel size but they seem to be about 17", 18", and 19"?! Wheel sizes. I'm looking to put a 15" wheel size does anyone have any suggestion? I need to get wider than my 215/45 17.

Re: Wheel size

So my problem is wheel spin. I can't keep traction to save my life. So I need to find a way to get more rubber on the road. I was thinking smaller but wider wheel would help.

Agreed.

A 225/45R16 can fit pretty well without too many issues depending on the offset of the wheel and how much you've dropped. Keep in mind this is less than 5% extra tread width. 15's look crap but should clear the brakes unless you have a BBK. Maybe think more about compound though, a 215 should be enough unless you're running heaps of power. What brand are your current tyres? A cheap chinese compound won't have any traction no matter how wide it is. Also, when does it get wheelspin exactly? Just in the wet? Around corners? Or doing one-wheeler-peelers when dragging off your mates? Most of these issues can be fixed with an LSD too, spinning two wheels is twice as hard as spinning one.

Re: Wheel size

I would look into some 16x8 wheels with some sticky tires. I have FireStone Firehawk 500s on my S2000 and they grip really nice.
