Tachometer off after new wheels

I know my speedometer is off by about 4mph, but it seems like my tach is also off. Is there a calculator too see how much it's off by or is this all in my head?

Re: Tachometer off after new wheels

Tach is connected straight to the ICM in the distributor, nothing drivetrain related can throw it off. Might just be a coincidence?

Re: Tachometer off after new wheels

I was worried that I might be over reving when I'm getting on it, but if it reads from a different system than I'll get over it. It's the first week of driving so I constantly do the speed correction calculation in my head.
