2000 Lude Radio Aux. Jacks?

I'm getting ready to install a Sirius tuner and have the option to tap the OEM Acoustic Feedback radio directly providing it has an audio in RCA type jack on the back in the harness. Does the stock radio offer this aux. jack? Can't seem to find a diagram or anyone at the dealer who can tell me.

Thanks guys .

no rca jack or any jacks on the back of the oem radio sorry...i would recommend getting a sirius plug and play unit with the direct adaptor that plugs into your antenna jack to give u a wired fm modulator connection or replace the unit with a sirius ready deck and tuner.

There is not an RCA jack but you can buy an aux in interface that would give you RCA jacks. These generally run about 100 bucks or so. Definatly a better option but if the highest possible sound quality isn't an issue an FMDA25 from sirius will be fine.

FM Modulator & Antenna Plug Type?

Yeah, It's looking like my only realistic option is the FM modulator for improved sound using the stock radio. Bad time to be spending $$ on a new Sirius ready radio. Looks like the FM mod can be had for about $20.00.

Question: Does the 5th gen Lude use the standard type antenna plug? I read somewhere that some of the Hondas use another type of harness plug. I'm curious because our antenna is the in the glass type in the rear window.

Thanks.

Thanks for the help. Better to know ahead of time what you're up against. It's off to the electronics store for the modulator. Hope to have Sirius up and running this afternoon.

Thanks again!

Hey, not sure if you are still interested in a solution or not, but this would be your best overall solution, but probably more expensive.

Check it out. http://indashpc.org/new/aux_adapters/car2aux-mbus.html

Thanks for the hook up. Looks like a good option. I contacted them and asked for info. for the Sirius connection. Seems doable and not that expensive.

Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the hook-up. I called'em and inquired about the Sirius connection. Seems doable and not unreasonably expensive.

Thanks, V1
