18 inch wheels

Hey guys! Im new here And i need some opinions!
Right now im running:
17x8,5 +22 on 215/40
I found some nice wheels and here are the spec:
18x8,5 +30 ..
Question is, is 18" too big?
What tires spec should i go(i live in canada quebec and streets are real ****)

Note: my fenders are rolled+pulled,
Im on BC Racing BR series coilovers

I have 18" Saleen wheels. Not sure what the offset it. But I'm lowered, rolled and trimmed.

I'm running 18x9 amd 18x10.5 on my lude. Did some major rolling and body work on the rear of my car in order for them to work.
