Strange noise from timing belt side

Hi guys ! It might be awkward for most of you but i do have 2.0 (F20A4,manual trans) engine in my 5th gen prelude. Anyway the car is eudm and i have a problem,i hope you guys can help me or point me in any direction to solve it.I get this strange grinding and whining noise from the timing belt area on idle and from 1000 to 1200/300 rpms. Timing belt is new, balancer belt is new, pulleys and water pump are also new. I even took a video today so i can be more clear and specific.

I appreciate any help from you guys !

Re: Strange noise from timing belt side

It just started making the noise after the timing belt was replaced? Did a shop do the work? If so I'd take it back and have them look at it just to make sure it isn't rubbing on the timing cover. If you did it, then I'd take off the valve cover and look and see if you can spot any signs of rubbing anywhere.

New timing belts tend to make a whining noise on these cars in my experience. It sounds a bit like a supercharger, until a few thousand miles have passed and the noise slowly fades out. But your noises sounds a bit like rubbing.

Manual or auto tensioner?

Re: Strange noise from timing belt side

It does sound like rubbing to me too,but the noise was there before the timing belt job,and i thought some pulley had failed so i changed everything( in a small shop in my hometown-the guy had very good reputation on hondas but..) but the noise is still there...as you can see from the vide the crank pulley is now wobbling around,or any other problems besides a bit of vlave tick. This stupid sound is making me crazy

edit:
manual tensioners x2 for each belt, spring loaded, both of em are on shaft ending with a 14mm bolt.

Re: Strange noise from timing belt side

Something else have you tried removing the belt that goes to the power steering? Id try that, start the car up and rev it and see if the sound changes at all... it does sound like it could just be the power steering pump whining. (especially since it made this noise before the timing belt job)

If that doesn't change anything you could try the same thing with the alternator belt, sometimes they're on too tight making strange noises.

Let us know

i did removed both belts for the ac-alternator and the power steering and the noise is still there..;[ I am starting to worry about crank bearing or ballancer shaft bearing...
