Icon13 Prelude Smashed!

I was driving home the other night, and it was cool out, so I did a little spirited driving when a damn deer jumped out on to the highway smashing my 98 Prelude SH. The hood popped open at 100mph wrapped around the windshield. That crushed the roof in a little, and smashed the windshield and sunroof out. The deer was cut in half, but luckily I wasn't badly hurt, because of the shield formed by the hood. Anyways I had to get rid of the car. I'm selling my KYB AGX dampeners, service manual, new brake pads, and WIX oil filter. I don't care if I make any money off of these as long as the go to someone who will use it. I'm selling them for the price of shipping, and auction fees. No reserve. I just don't want to throw this stuff in the garbage. I don't want to violate any policies , so I'll just say this stuff is listed in a wholesale auto parts lot on a popular auction site. Search for yourself. My prelude was a great car, and I sold it to a guy that will be able to straighten it out properly. I will definitely miss it, but at the price they are selling for nowadays I may have another one in the future.

I was on this forum a couple of years ago but switched to gmail and lost my yahoo account so i made a new name.
The roof was dented in, both doors dented, hood gone, radiator core pushed in to engine, a-arms bent. I've paid high insurance rates(full coverage+) my whole life, and this is my first claim. They decided to total it, and pay me KBB value. I sold the car to a friend at a car shop who will be able to salvage it. The engine was fine. Mainly body. May get another one some day. I've always wondered if the ATTS really matters. I'm giving all my stuff away. No reserve. It's free. I may get an E36 M3, so I just like to say THANK YOU to all the people that make these forums possible. These forums have saved me thousands of dollars over the years, and gave me the confidence I didn't have to work on my cars, build houses, build computers, build projectors, build headphone amps, and much more. Thanks, and even if I don't have a Prelude I hope yall won't mind if I stop by. You definitely will not find me saying an 81 IROC camaro is faster than a Prelude or making fun of FWD like most idiots.

Thanks for all the support in these trying times. No I didn't eat it. A second later I was a couple hundred yards down the road. I thought I killed a hobo in the highway. I went home and told my friends waiting for me I might go to jail for a while, but they went back and saw it was a deer. I was so shook up thinking I'd just hit and run a man that I didn't even consider eating it. I guess you could of.
It was field dressed at over 130mph
No ****, I'm not even kidding, my friend Isa just hit a deer in his Jeep Cherokee at 70 mph last night! Deer dead. Not cut in half. Windshield smashed, hood and fenders crinkled, and radiator core pushed back. For the time being I'm driving a 4x4 Z71 with a brush guard so I can go in to the woods and find them.

I think its illegal for pedestrians to be on a major highway (at least in PA), so If the highway you were on was major I dont think it would have been your fault. AND if you actually hit a pedestrian, of course.
