Clutch pedal gets stiffer when car warms up

Replaced both my mc and slave with a Exedy replacement along with ditching the hardline and going with a rywire ss clutch line and lucas dot 3 brake fluid. When car is cold the clutch feels pretty normal and good and when I start driving and the car warms up the pedal gets super stiff and I've noticed the engagement point gets a little higher. I had the same issue with the old mc slave and ss clutch line but when I swapped out the mc and slave the issue seemed to get much better considering the clutch pedal feels good when cold and hot. And before when cold the pedal was super mushy and barley got better when warm . I don't remember the pedal feel and engagement changing when cold vs hot before I even had issues with my old mc. Any ideas on what it can be?

Sounds like your developing clutch preload when warm. You simply need to adjust the clutch free play. If I had to bet money on it I'd say when cold your pedal has free play but when warm I bet it is tight. Adjust your clutch rod and give it some more free play and see what happens. Good luck.

See here if your interested in more info:

They refer to it as clutch "pump up"
