97 Prelude help!

So i have had my License for about a Month now and im looking to buy a Prelude and i dont have the most money to spend but ive found a 1997 Honda Prelude the only thing though is that one of the pistons are not making compression but theres no other car i want for my first car but ive seen most Preludes costing 7000 i dont have that much money to spend although a piston isnt making compression is it a serious problem and not worth fixing?
I Enclosed the link to the car so you could see what it is

If its not making compression that motor is screwed, do not buy this car unless you plan to replace or rebuild this motor.

I found my 1997 Prelude for $5000 cash. Looks like it came off the showroom floor, newly painted. However some co worker at work keyed it last Sunday and I am steaming mad

You can find a Prelude that runs well and looks decent for under $6000 you just have to keep looking. I looked at over 7 Preludes before I found mine. I do know a guy that had one all pimped out but I think he has sold it already it was a 1998 SH, with lots of extras (he wanted $6000). I didn't get it because CARFAX said it had been totaled. But it did look good and ran very well.

it looks good:

(but looks can be deceiving...)

But the motor is fried with 1 piston dead or whatever they are not tell us.

Keep looking new guy, dont make bad decisions...
