Halo Headlights

Does anyone know where to buy red halo headlights? All I can find is white.

Re: Halo Headlights

I am pretty sure red is against state law in some states, might be why you can't find them. personally I have only seen other colors for mods on street bikes.

Re: Halo Headlights

Thanks, I've seen them offered for Camaros and Challengers but probably "off-road use only".

Probably because red halos would be way too dim for street use. Since red is at the low end of the visible light spectrum, red LEDs emit the least amount of light.

PHYSICS!

^^^ granted this doesn't directly apply to LEDs, but it's a similar concept. Red LEDs emit about one-third the light of white LEDs.

Re: Halo Headlights

Red are for tail lights.

White is for headlights...

Say you're tooling down a 2 lane road at 10pm in the rain, barely able to see the road...and you see red lights...you gonna think to yourself 'awe that's some cool guy wit dem halos'?
..h3ll naw man!
You gonna be thinking 'thems tail lights and they're getting closer holy crap!' and may crash because of it..

Re: Halo Headlights

I hear what you're saying Chris.

But the gov't don't care if he wants puff the magic dragon eyes or satan himself...they say red is for tail lights on cars day, night or in between.
And with people being completely mindless these days, there may not be anybody interested in taking on the liability of producing them for just any ole stoopilee-doo, slug nutty.

But for a fee element660 will hook a brutha up.
