Try this if you have this problem!

Hello guys,

I'm ready to start contributing to this website, lol!

If you've got bad seat belts (by bad i mean they don't roll out correctly, release from the lock correctly or they get stuck or don't retract) go to a honda dealership and tell them what the problem is, they will write up a work order and charge you 50 dollars for checking IF the seatbelts are broken because of something YOU did ( like spill something in there) otherwise, they will replace them for you for free. They're covered under their life time warranty- but again only if it is a wear and tear issue. I'm getting new seatbelts this friday :)

Also, Honda4Life sent me my stock black stitching prelude sh shift knob! it looks awesome and even made my car faster by like 50 more hp, my 1/4 mile time has gone down a few tenths!! =D hehe just kidding- but it does look great and the overall feel has improved a ton... If any of you guys are really good friends with Honda4Life give him a holler guys...

Hey its a good thing to have good seatbelts man! you might be racing one day and try and jump out and the seatbelt hangs and there you are, dragging along side your car doing like 60 65 right before you go off the cliff =\ playing chicken at those speeds is no joke!

Mazda does the same thing. I think all manufacturers are supposed to do that. I know a guy, go tin a wreck in his 85 RX7, the seatbelt broke and he went through the windshield. He informed Mazda about it, they examined the seatbelt, and payed his whole hospital bill, which was well over 100,000 because they didn't think he'd ever walk again so a lot of treatment was called for.

It's a common problem in 5th gens for the seatbelt not to retract. I don't know exactly why.

I think when the seat belt is extended, it twists around, so it ends up upside down (if that makes sense). So, when it retracts, it becomes twisted and jammed into the little guider thing and stops. So you have to twist the belt over once and it goes it with a bit of help. But yea, we shouldnt have to help our seal belts retract, ya know?

Thats right littlefoot!! once i repaint the scratch on my bumper, i will be aerodynamic again and from that i will get ATLEAST 20 rwhp :) wanna race? =D

Yeah i noticed that the piece where the seatbelt guides through is badly placed, i am working on a way/idea of making that piece stand at an angle always so that the seatbelt always rolls and never twists and gets stuck...because in my theory this is what happens:
The seatbelt is released and then twists and gets stuck, you get out of your car and you leave- and the tensioner inside of the car is now tuck in this position, in tension. So in time, this happens so much that the tensioner becomes warn in a way where it gets used to being in this position and so it loses its tension and "roll back power" so now you're at the point where you've got to feed the belt in... and you can't be big pimpin when you pop your door and the chicks are checking you out and you're sitting there rolling your seatbelt back in- thats not sex or pimp status, you should be able to unbuckle, look at the chick, wink, and let it roll baby and she be like "omg if we ever get hot and heavy he could be ready for action in mere seconds!!!"

Bestway to home clean a tan interior

Any ideas? I want to clean my interior with out taking it to a shop. What is the best product that you guys have USED...

Also, does anyone have any idea how expensive a black leather conversion would be??? just carpeting, front seats, rear seats nothing with the center console or dash or door trim just seats...

Can ya get us some pics of your interior or the bad spots?
If you're in GA, I'll trade you my MINT black interior for your tan.

i didn't actually pay anything on the spot, you only pay if they find out its your fault that the seatbelts don't work.... I got mine yesterday :D didn't pay a thing, and he even hooked me up with black ones too instead of the tan :) i'm one step closer to black interior, lol!

My interior isn't "bad" its just tan and i like black lol, the worse i see on it is that the foam on my driver seat on the left side of the bottom of the seat- its warn out, so it needs to be refoamed, but there are no tears or excessive wear of any kind.....And i'm looking for leather Interior, is that what you've got dude? OH and little foot- those need seatbelts gave me atleast a 10 HP gain =D
