Would these 18s look good on my lude??(HELP)

Hey, I currently drive a 2000 prelude, and I'm pretty sure the stock wheels are 16s. I was wondering if these black rims would look ok on my car, or would they be too big?? They are 18's btw:

Re: Would these 18s look good on my lude??(HELP)

This rims are great for crushing those side mirrors!
Or better yet sell those clown side mirrors and the rims for stock OEM Honda Prelude Side Mirrors.

Get rid of those ricer aftermarket side mirrors.
Take care of all the mechanical issues first. And if you have no mechanical issues that need to be addressed, the change all your fluids, make sure you have sufficient air-flow, take care of any codes, take care of any oil leaks, do an oil change, Make sure your car can pass inspection (unlike mine, i still got like 2-3 months) steam-clean your seats, change the cabin air-filter, give your car a nice wash, clay/polish, and GREAT wax job and a pedicure (clean the ins and outs of your rims). Improve your brake system. Then take care of your sound system or exhaust.

Ricey Civics are for immature boys.
Preludes are for Men.

Your car describes what kind of person you are.

You got money left?
Get new tires.
Strut bars.
Sway bars.

Anything that will IMPROVE handling or reliable power.
And learn how to drive (Autocross).

Re: Would these 18s look good on my lude??(HELP)

your lude looks clean already... if you are going for looks get some nice brakes and paint or get your calipers powder coated. front lip would make it look way better too. its not often you find a SH prelude that looks like that.

No, they will not look good.

Is it just me, or is your rear passenger wheel sitting with positive camber? May just be the photo... but might want to double check incase...

Black rims on black cars do not look good.
18" rims on preludes do not look good.
Fake rims do not look good.

A clean as f*** SH with SH rims looks very good.

Some do some don't.

Ogs has Volk's and I have Mugen's... both are 18's. Just depends on color and style.

I asked a SIMPLE question. Would they look ok on my car?? I'm gonna get new tires but I want to know if 18 inch rims and tires would look good??!!!!! Or too big??. And I have no performance issues!!!!! Everything is fine! And the mirrors were like that when I bought the damn car. And I already put in a sway bar. So if anyone would like to answer my question i would appreciate that very much

I was straightforward with my answer, and had a concerning question. I would appreciate a little respect for that.
Ignore the rest, don't take the chatter seriously.

Your back passenger side wheel. It looks as if the wheel is sitting "/" instead of "l"

but it could just be the photo playing tricks

Your asking for opinions. Be prepared for what's to come. I for one say no. Those look like schmidt. Stick with the stock SH's. They look perfect for the car.

And yes, you should find some stock mirrors also.

^^
These are answers. Like the thread you started a couple of weex ago, they are obviously not what you wanna hear.

For future refference DO NOT PUT THE WORD HELP in your title unless you need help. This is like the lady who called 911 because her local McDonalds was out of McNuggets or something.

You ask for opinions? You get opinions...
Matter of fact my opinion is you should sell that car to somebody who'll give it the proper attention it deserves and go buy something more fashionable because obviously that's what you are looking for...some fashionable looking stoople-ee-doo latest thing fad-boy car.
Have at it, but don't keep coming here asking our opinion and getting snotty because you don't agree with the answers.

Car won't start, door handle broken, got a question about which oil to use or need help installing a clutch...we're here for ya. But this nonsense of 'what would look cool on my car' and then getting pissy about it should stop for your sake. Makes you look like a spoiled kid and will definitely affect how others will handle things when you do need help.

So put on the those wheels. Why you care so much what we think anyway?

Here is the answer you are looking for: NO THEY WILL NOT LOOK OK.

It will look something like this, except your car is black and your rims are black. Your car will sit too high.

Hey guess what; you DIDN'T ask a simple question! "What's 2+2?" Now THAT'S a simple question, because it has a simple answer.

Asking if something looks good is COMPLETELY opinionated and subjective. There is NO correct answer. Ever hear the phrase, beauty is in the eye of the beholder??

Who cares what some Mugen-nutswingers from the intarwebz think? As long as YOU like the wheels, f*ck them. If you want to please absolutely everyone building your car to what THEY like, you're gonna have a bad time.

I got over trying to impress other people with my cars and that makes decisions a lot easier as to how to make your car look, it definately reflects you as a person

build your own car, don't ask for advice, regret every stupid mod you put on when you turn 25, take all those stupid mods off wish you never did it, try to give advice to the new youngins that ask and did the same stupid **** you did, get terrible response from them. Its a circle man, you'll learn

Re: Would these 18s look good on my lude??(HELP)

imo anything above 17" is too large for our cars.
SH wheels are nice, maybe polish them up real nice and see if you like them, or you can properly paint them any color, sell the 18`s for cash. make ur money back and go buy a six pack!

Whatever you do, is completely up to you.

Stop worrying about the rims and GET OEM SIDE MIRRORS that should be on your top 5 list,

Not trying to offend you or anything, JUST MY OPINION.

Don't worry about what everyone thinks about your car. It's YOUR car. If you put them next to your car and you think they fit and look great then do it! It's all about how YOU want it to look.
