Turbo BB6 serious failures

hello friends .. "Prelude BB6 98 Auto Transmission" recently installed my turbo kit , T04E 50/63 @ 8 psi , the pressure currently in 5.8 psi and leave for tune with my VAFC currently with my stock fuel management but I have for install a AEM Fuel pump 320lph and Low Impedance 800cc injectors . On the way I noticed that the speedometer drops and flash a light ( D4 ) . I go home and I connect my scanner and results between these various codes : code p0700 , p0500 , p1791 and p0108 .. Was looking for information on the Map sensor and see how many pounds of boost can read and found 10psi. I check in another forum and saw a comment in the h22a4 are able to read only 2 psi . I am having a problem passing 1 psi of boost the Map sensor strip code and the car fails and sound many pops by the exhaust . The VAFC is on the maximum in gas and yet I can not make a good configuration for all these problems. I can trick the Map sensor to avoid pops in the exhaust system or adjust my VAFC to prevent failures ? In several months I will take it to a local speed shop to install a p28 in parallel and to make a good tune . If you know of any solution for these errors will be of great help. Sorry for my bad English

Re: Turbo BB6 serious failures

Do not run the car with a turbo and VAFC.

You're just asking for some serious trouble/engine failure.

If you continue to drive the car as it is, be prepared to purchase another or rebuild your current motor.

Re: Turbo BB6 serious failures

Automatic + vafc + insanely limited injector control + turbo is a recipe for disaster.

That's god telling you to rethink your strategy or look forward to the repricautions which will get expensive real fast.

Re: Turbo BB6 serious failures

^^I did not notice that at first my good man, there is much truth in that...

Exhaust pops are probably the system running pig rich, and I think u can overheat if u go too lean on the mix.
That sounds crazy, I didnt know u could, or even should run an upgraded fuel pump on stock injectors, but then again its only 6 psi. I have to look a bit more at what a VAFC is, But p28 sounds about right.

Re: Turbo BB6 serious failures

Updates, the car is in daily use and in three months even not broke so for now I'll stop since summer study and the car suffering from poor gas milage . I'm waiting for a tranny 5spd an Acura CL 97 f22b1 to install as soon as possible . Now I have a stage 3 clutch. There is manual to connect such a box strength for OBD1 injectors ? In a speedshop they told me it have to be from a CRX .

Re: Turbo BB6 serious failures

This thread freaks me out.

I get visions of the supercharger exploding on top fuel cars and blowing the shell off when I read it.

But I am intrigued by the choice of 5 speed...
