What do you all think about sea-foam, to get rid of the EGR code?
I prefer not getting physical and cleaning out the clogged-carbon.
Will sea-foam do the job?
I seams like a less labor intensive job.
I searched the forum and similar questions were unanswered.

Thanks.

Only way is to clean it. Seafoam wont clean what normally takes at least one can of carb cleaner and brakeclean

Part of my atts unit is covered in oil and right above it is my oil filter.
Is there anything other than my oil filter potentially causing the oil leak?

and I am getting confused with the O-ring, some people been saying it is part of the distributor and others say its near the oil filter...Where does O-ring belong?

Have you even bothered to look at the service manual? Have you downloaded one yet?
It has pictures.

There are several o-rings throughout the engine Mat.

You've earned the spoon pic.

Re: What do you all think...Without getting physical...

When I took my intake off my car and disassembled it to clean it, it took me an hour of cleaning the inside with a wire brush and a couple cans of brake cleaner to get all the carbon out. It wasn't super thick but it was definitely present.

I'm NOT saying that running Seafoam through one of ther vacuum lines won't help, but there is no way that it will help as much as you would hope that it would.

I agree, take loose the hose and the couple of bolts holding it on and clean it. But be sure beforehand that you have a replacement gasket on-hand.

Re: What do you all think...Without getting physical...

This is your only choice bro, cheapest solution ^^^^

This prompted me to make a video I've been wanting to for a while now. Just point form, hopefully I got most of it right. I think I understand the system. Just havent researched much into if the solenoid can actually "receive" a kick from the ecu to open, or if it is entirely dependant on the vacuum in the intake. That sensor could be to monitor a kick, deliver a kick, or both, heehee. Looks like it only takes samples from cyl 4...

Sorry for the potato quality video, I forgot to set the phone to HDR...

UPDATE: I didn't use seafoam. Removed my intake manifold and cleaned it out, replaced plugs with honda replacement plugs.
