Re: prelude coin holder light question
No, no, no yer fine man...
It's just for what little bit of light it puts out, it's a huge pain to fix. So when I was swapping out a shifter boot, and saw I had a light, and put it all back together and..no light, bulb was burn't! What-a-jip! So I took the console back out and uplugged it.

Didnt mean to alienate you, but buddy, look through the history of some of my posts and you'll see what kind of guy I am. I didnt join up just yesterday, I've helped more than a few through their troubles, you'll realize that as time goes on. Singling ppL out and pointing the finger isnt as mature as you may delude yourself to believe. Thats just dry snitching.

Nah, seriously, we've all done some wise-apple comments at times. It's nothing personal. It's all part of the process. But when the chips are down Static420 is a gremmie. Just sit back and watch the board, post when you can...and one day some new guy will be calling you a troll too. ![]()

Re: prelude coin holder light question
Lmao
I use the cheetos goo that sticks to your fingers. I read that people used to use them before the modern day performance type motor mounts...really. Apparently they actually worked.

Re: prelude coin holder light question
Sounds solid, and pucks work even better in the cold. I'm trying to envision something like that working for the rear mount..

Not too bad at all. Definitely a good idea for the future, when parts become increasingly scarce. That's kind of impressive.

Re: prelude coin holder light question
I have heard of people using air hockey pucks for body lifts on 4x4's, since they are solid and very durable and others actually welding or bolting a chain to the engine and the frame near the motor mount to keep the engine from tearing through those stock rubber pieces... So I wouldn't be surprised if someone used a hockey puck for a motor mount...

Re: prelude coin holder light question
Wow, one small google search shows just how many guys are actually doing this hockey puck thing. Some of them I wouldnt trust revving past 3000 rpm, but some of the handiwork actually looks pretty good,

Use a 'snuffer'. Fits in the cupholder. And you can decorate it with stickerssssss!
![]() Or get a genuine ashtray. $20 at HandA accessories (if they still have them) ![]()
