wrap question

Is it possible to take off the carbon fiber wrap without a heat gun or torch?

Re: wrap question

Possible? Sure. You might not like the end result though. Snag yourself a heat gun. They can be found pretty cheap nowadays. You will have more success in getting the wrap and the adhesive off with one.

Ninja Edit:
Harbor Freight has one under 20bux.

Heat Gun - Dual Temperature Heat Gun, 1500W

Re: wrap question

Getting all the leftover sticky stuff can be daunting..but not impossible.
PB Blaster works great but..
Leaves your car smelling like diesel fuel.

A product called citrosol (from home depot etc) works well and leaves a nice orange kool aid smell.

Re: wrap question

You can also use a hair dryer to warp up the glue and the Goo gone or wd40 can remove the sticky residue.
