Slight issue with new rims

I know I have seen a few preludes with them, and I never read anything about people needing spacers, but I just bought a set of the 06-08 civic si rims. The issue is, they don't clear the caliper bracket, and I have no desire to go with a huge bolt on spacer to make them fit because I like where they sit now, so wondering if anyone who has used them before, knows how small of a spacer you can get away with, and also a recommendation on the spacers I get? My tires are shot, The tires on them are brand new, and I like the way the rims look, so please don't tell me to sell them or they look horrible like I have seen people doing on the other forums.

Re: Slight issue with new rims

I just want to make sure everything is safe, and not have to grind down my stock studs to put a spacer on. I am guessing a 10mm spacer should work, but would rather have some insight from people who have used these rims before I go ordering things.

Re: Slight issue with new rims

I ran '08 SI option rims and never had a problem.

Re: Slight issue with new rims

I just read, seems the popular choice is shaving down the calipers.

Thanks Lindso, I guess I will just go that route then. Seems a bit cheaper then buying extended wheel studs, and spacers.

Re: Slight issue with new rims

You could just convert the hub instead... Get TL Type S with the big brake/enkei option...

Pretty sure you can get it all for a new set of Si rims
