Ideas diagnosing rough surging idle?

I recently bought my first prelude and it seems to have a idling issue. When I first bought it, It would start up with the high idle as usual then start to surge pretty heavily until the motor warmed up then it would run normal. Today it also started to surg/rough idle after about a 45 min drive but different then the cold idle surge ive been getting. It was a quicker surge. I have replaced the air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs and wires, cap and wires and pcv valve just as maintenance but dont want to throw un needed parts at the car. Any ideas what to check next?

^^ Thanks to modern education, many have no idea how to use their brain for more than a crooked hat holder.

Some are still sucking on the nanny state teet. Or just lazy.

And some are just young, dumb and full of ...you know.
Like we were at one point...

F.i.t. Valve or the I.a.c.v. Start there, gotta clean that Bicch. It's not a fun job but helped my idle problems, good luck

Screwed the fitv back in and seems to have fixed all my issues. Is this permanent? What caused it to screw to far out in the first place?
