All Aluminum Radiator 01 Lude Type SH

Hello Everyone, I was wondering if anyone had a suggested brand or radiator company that produces all aluminum radiators for the 2001 Preludes Type SH? I've searched and searched, but I haven't found anything promising other than some Ebay offers and sketchy product lines.

I went full retard and tried getting a Mishimoto Radiator, but didn't do enough research and found that it won't fit my Type SH due to the fact that I need to cool my ATTS Fluid (transmission fluid), the radiator doesn't have two prongs to allow the fluid to be cooled through it.

I don't think there are many (or any) full aluminium radiators that can accommodate the ATTS cooler.

You can run the non-ATTS Mishimoto and purchase either their MMTC-U external universal transmission cooler, or as Bykfixer said (I think) any external auto transmission cooler will do the job.

I don't think any aluminum rads come with a oil cooler (tank) inside the rad.

you can always get a B&M cooler (9800btu) is fine.

Re: All Aluminum Radiator 01 Lude Type SH

^^ correct. Mishimoto etc offer an add on cooler for auto tranny cooling.

Trouble with dual core radiators is fitting into the bay as is. The oem barely fits in the gap between it and the ac lines. And in many cases the oem fans don't fit. So to use an all metal radiator you have to remove the ac lines, put in the radiator and put the ac lines back, thereby discharging the system if you want to have ac. Then there's the cost of fans...

^^I'm gonna check into this dude.
All metal oem size.

Re: All Aluminum Radiator 01 Lude Type SH

Yeah, I was able to fit the Mishimoto radiator in with the fans and it was tight, so the additional radiator for the ATTS won't work.

Thanks for the links, I'm probably gonna try the Genesis radiator you posted, gonna have to wait about a week before I can buy it tho. I'll probably end up making a write up for those who are curious, I haven't seen one in detail here.

Re: All Aluminum Radiator 01 Lude Type SH

Write-ups are cool.

Switching to all metal is like #378 on my list of 843 items so it would be cool to have your write as a reference.

Mine is atts free currently, but I may end up having one at some point. It would be a bonus to already have an all metal radiator atts ready.

Re: All Aluminum Radiator 01 Lude Type SH

FYI:
The SH radiator is the same part number as the base auto tranny. 1910-P0A-902. The base model 5 speed has J0A in it.
