Re: What do you guys think of the Euro Tail Lights?

STOCK!! I bought my car with euro tail lights and hated them, just picked up a pair of oem tail lights and it looks so much better

But hey thats my opinion. I still have the euros, they are in pretty good shape. Pm me if you want them, il sell em cheap

Re: What do you guys think of the Euro Tail Lights?

I think on a 5th gen I like them, only the black though, chrome looks tacky as fuuuuuuu€k on any lude, if they'd made black ones for my inx I'd buy them in a second, however I'd keep the original tail lights because one day I'll be an old man and not wanna look like a ricer anymore

But yeah it's your ride though, I've learnt quickly It doesn't really matter because your prelude is just your way of expressing yourself. GO YOU

Re: What do you guys think of the Euro Tail Lights?

Euro style lights were a fad back in the day. Why people with Japanese cars wanted "euro" looking parts is beyond me, likewise with non-Lambo drivers wanting Lambo doors.

My vote is to leave that stuff in the past for a couple more decades, until hipsters of the future find them at a thrift store and put them on their ironically-cool cars.

All kidding aside, the 4th and 5th gens are cars that never really aged. If you have a clean one it could pass for a car built in the past 5 years or so, especially if you throw on some retrofits and LED tail lights. These "euro" lights make the car look pretty dated in my opinion. I remember when they were in fashion, and when some cars came with them stock. That was a long time ago. Parts like this also make the car look cheap, because of how out of date the parts are. Its like when middle-aged divorcees go out on dates. She wears too much makeup and perfume, trying to look like she's 20 again, and he wears his snazziest shirt...which he got for Christmas 1990. Both show themselves up, badly. They look dated, and out of fashion.

The car scene is pretty easy these days, a lot easier than it was 10-12 years ago, when you HAD to have euros, body kits, decals, holes, and lights everywhere. These days, a clean car with some reasonably priced used accessories, and OEM look, cuts so much more ice than the David Bowie/Elton John circa 1975 excess look of a decade ago.

My advice is, embrace it while its affordable and in fashion.
