I done did it, bought a 5th Gen

How is everyone doing?
I done did it, I am finally back in a Prelude, 8 years younger than my last one. Will be posting pictures once I get a few good ones.
It is a 98 Type SH

It has a H22A in it. Timing belt and all that good stuff was changed about a year ago. Transmission, clutch, and flywheel was swapped 6 months ago. I have all of the documentation for everything.

Engine and Drivetrain I am going to keep it how it is. Except motor mounts, I am replacing those.
Suspension, I will go through all that, starting with coilovers.
Don't know what wheels I want yet.
I need a different exhaust, because what is on it right now sounds like dookie..

That is it for now. I am not going to do anything performance wise just yet, because I want to keep it as reliable as possible, since it is my daily. I have a RB25 swapped 95 240SX, which is my project and will be taking up a lot of time.

Anyways, just wanted to say hello =) Excited to be back in a prelude.

Oh, and turbochargers are air cooled, so you don't need to fool with that pesky oil line that may or may not come with your kit.

Good luck!

Re: I done did it, bought a 5th Gen

Here are both of them, 98 Type SH and my RB25-S14

Eventhough it is messy, here is an engine bay picture, Battery will go in the trunk, wires will be tucked, just make her look pretty.

For the heck of it, here is a bay shot of the 240. still a work in progress, this is my main project right now. I am pulling the motor soon and shaving and tucking the whole bay.

Will keep you posted on updates =)

For anyone interested, this is the link to the 240. Another slow project as I am only on E3 pay.
