Icon13 Ignition switch issues...

Hey so I have a 97 Prelude and it is having the infamous ignition switch issue. Honda won't do it a second time for free so I'm stuck either paying $230 to get it replaced or replacing it myself for $50. So obviously I'm going to pick the cheaper option. I've checked the DIY section and I can't find anything on replacing the ignition switch. If anyone could lead me to a DIY or give me some tips on how to do it, that would be fantastic! Thanks for the help.

Re: Ignition switch issues...

Replace ignition switches on imobilized cars is hard to find to keep unscrupulous people from learning how steal imobilized cars from reading it on forums.

Info is out there, just aint easy to find. Befriend a locksmith or a mechanic imo. Pay 'em a few bucks to show you how and keep the secret to yourself.
