Icon5 Car won't move after 5 speed swap?

I just completed my 5 speed swap on my 97 base lude. Problem is that When I shift into gear and let the clutch out it won't engage in any gear, I can let it all the way out and nothing happens. Clutch feels spongy but I have full travel in my slave and it's been bled properly. Both the slave and master are new and the pedal has been adjusted. Though I'm not 100% sure correctly. I played with it last night but it didn't seem to do anything.

Also I just pulled it apart/ put it back together because we heard a noise (loose bolts on pressure plate) when I was releasing the clutch and clearly it was grabbing then.

Any ideas why my car won't move?

It mentions adjusting the pedal in rompirates 5 speed swap but it's not very clear.

All Gen. Prelude Service Manuals
Maybe the service manual can elaborate on the final steps of clutch installation in a way Honda would have done it.

Sounds like the clutch button that tells the car to start fell off... Its like a little cap spacer thing. You lose it... Headaches

Re: Car won't move after 5 speed swap?

I'll take a look through there thanks. I have a chilton but it doesn't help much. Are you talking about the clutch switch on the pedal?

Re: Car won't move after 5 speed swap?

So you start the car, put it in gear, let the clutch out, and nothing happens?

Re: Car won't move after 5 speed swap?

Thank you static that's what I needed for my adjustment! My book didn't have that... I went through page by page haha. Also I've had it bled by a mechanic that came to my house. He's pretty stumped as well.

Dbd6604 that is exactly what happens.

Re: Car won't move after 5 speed swap?

Took me a while to fine tune mine when I changed slave and master cylinders. It should start to engage pretty low in the stroke. Just make sure it engages fully, or else your clutch will heat up like crazy.

You're welcome.

Re: Car won't move after 5 speed swap?

Did you put your axles in? I know that's quite obvious but this just sounds...insane. Also, are you sure you hooked the shifter linkages up on the top of the trans?

Re: Car won't move after 5 speed swap?

Yeah both the axles are in and the half shaft. I know cuz when it slid in the lower control arm swing over and smacked me in the temple, I was only a little dizzy ha.

Yeah I actually went out and bought new m8x1.25 60mm bolts to hold down the shift linkage and I routed it the same as rompirate.
