Most Random Problem you'll ever read about lol, help !

Hey guys this is just something that's been bugging me in my car lately and I don't know how to get rid of it . So the cover for like the tachometer and all that stuff which doesn't let you out your hand through like that plastic see through cover has this residue on it I can't get off. It started when I was cleaning my car the other day and it had some dust on it so I used some armor all cleaning wipes to wipe it down and that left like a residue . So I tried windex to get it off that didn't help , might of even made it a bit worse. Then I tried soap and water and that didn't help either and that even made it a bit worse. It's something minor I just have OCD sometimes and I'm sure some of you can relate out there when it comes to keeping your car clean and looking mint. Here's some pics of what it looks like , the pics are off my phone so they aren't the highest quality my apologies.

Maybe some screen cleaner for those plastic screen tablets and portable will help.

Try some rubbing compound for clear coat. It has microscopic scrubbing products and will remove a thin layer of plastic without scratching. But start with a dime sized area in a corner you don't see very often in case I'm wrong.

70% isopropyl rubbing alcohol in a paper towel. Might take 2-3 passes, where you completely dry the plastic, then wipe down again with a new sheet wet with new alcohol. Also cleans surfaces and disinfects.

Don't do that again. Armor all is a grease, not a cleaner.

Meguiar's Plast-X. Can't believe no one has mentioned this. It also works great on headlight residue and any other plastic lenses.
