01 Prelude turns over wont start, running out of ideas.

I hope this is in the right place. Anyway i have a 01 prelude with 130k on it. It turns over but does not start. I HAVE replaced the main relay and the fuel pump. Im not hearing a click from the main relay and the fuel pump is not priming. I keep to be running into the same ideas online and i am running out of ideas on what to do next. The car came with a aftermarket viper alarm with automatic start. It is a manual and the wires for the clutch and the e brake have been switched, at least thats what i was told and when i push the clutch the brake light comes on. The alarm stopped working 15k miles ago but never any problems. I cannot figure out why the fuel pump is not priming and im lost at this point.

P.S. i had the starter checked in the first place and its weak but working. Also when i recieved the car back from a shop a month ago they rigged the air intake with aluminum foil. I dont see and connection with that and the fuel pump or relay just wanted to add that in.

All help and suggestions are welcome and greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I suspect the alarm, even though it hasn't given you any problems. Aftermarket alarms often seem to be the culprit in cases like this. And the weird arrangement with the clutch safety switch being wired to the handbrake -- do you have to have the handbrake on? off? to start the car?

I can start it either using the clutch or just having it in neutral with the e brake pulled. Its a pretty scary amount of wires. i wouldn't know where to begin with that.

You need to remove that alarm kit asap.

Bypassing that feature to autostart your car is if not the most stupidest thing ever, definitely ranking in the top 3.

Pray no one ever accidentally leaves the car in gear, and you brush that autostart button by error...

Get ready to shell out some loot a the car radio shop.

break out the fsm and check every single ground. when I put my engine in, one tiny ground kept it from firing, a ground that was smaller then the ground that connects to the valve cover

Easiest way to remove it is to download a install manual for the alarm kit and just follow it and remove everything it says to install.
