NO VTEC!!!??!?!

Hey guys, so I just had my clutch replaced two days ago, and now VTEC doesn't kick in yo! It did kick in once, but it was only for a split second. Hasn't kicked in since. Any ideas why? It was hitting fine before the clutch was replaced. Any help on this would be great.

off topic entirely, but I wouldn't be hitting vtec with a 2-day old clutch if I were you. Having to replace another clutch would really suck..

Re: NO VTEC!!!??!?!

Pull off the vtec solenoid and clean the metal screen. Might as well order the gasket too cause it's probably hard as a rock and could easily crack.

Re: NO VTEC!!!??!?!

Also, while you've got the VTEC solenoid off, you can supply 12V to it, and if it clicks, you know it works. No click = bad solenoid. Granted, I don't think I've ever heard of one failing, but you never know.
