Icon8 nasty smell?!

when I start my '99 auto 'lude, a wicked chemical stench blasts from the vents... it does this whether or not the a/c is on or off... any comments, suggestions? thnx ppls =)

It's a sealed system. In that air is drawn in, and flows through sealed vents. Unless it's eminating from your engine bay... What kinda chemical?
Made any enemies lately? I wonder if somebody dropped a mickey down in your vent...

.. kinda eggy, like someone passed wind... hmmm, I used a silione lubricant on my sunroof, it smells like that? :/

That could be your catalytic convertor saying 'change me'.
Others may be able to say why, but sometimes they put out the smell of a rotten egg dipped in burnt gun powder... I've owned brand new cars that did it the first 6 months. Other times it just comes n goes.
