Quick question.

Hey guys, my car on first gear is very jerky and not smooth whatsoever. It's so jerky like the car jerks back and forth back and forth I can't wait to shift into second. Not sure if this is normal because it's my first manual car; just thought I'd ask. Thanks for the input guys.

Re: Quick question.

your foot is probably bouncing on and off the accelerator as you are slowly accelerating causing that feeling. what happens when you accelerate fast in first gear? like getting on a highway?

You need more practice. One day you will learn the true powah of H22! Manuel gearbox is all about control. Try shifting at 2.5k or 3k for a couple weeks. That will help you learn to shift better, save you gas, and oil.

Also when was the last time your fluids have been changed?
