Transmission fluid leak, Horn not working

Good day all,

Recently had no choice due to timing that made it a must to take the 2000 Prelude Base Auto in for a well needed wheel alignment. The technician who serviced the car said I had transmission fluid leaking to a point where I could see the fluid traveling along the underbody in a moderate amount (only happens when car had been driven apparently). He said it could be a few minor fixes that need to be done, and rather than take it in to a shop and get charged $600+ for labor alone, would rather do it myself. Any suggestions as to where to start? Hoses? Pan? Gaskets? Any locations, diagrams, pictures, explanations and visuals of all types would be much appreciated. Also I recently had to reground a few of the ground wires for proper contact, and found out today my horn no longer works, cruise control switch lights up, horn fuse under the hood is not blown; any wiring diagrams for under the hood and visuals, anything that could help would also be appreciated. Thanks very much all.

Re: Transmission fluid leak, Horn not working

All Gen. Prelude Service Manuals

Place some kinda white paper under your car whenever it's parked to determine the color of the fluid.
Oil is brown. Tranny fluid is honey brown. Or in your case red. Antifreeze is yellow green or red, and power steering fluid is clear. Also keep check on your reseviors for loss. Anything you have to keep topping off is likely your leak.
Try that and report back.

Wiring diagrams, fuse locations and test methods are in the service manual. Chapter 23 for your diagrams and how to stuff.
