Re: Fix or part out?

It looks like it took a pretty hard hit for sure..seeing as how the bumper itself behind the bumper cover got ripped off like the cardboard off the top of a cereal box. Looks like the quarter panel not only caved in but got pinched too...so only cutting that and welding a new skin in would fix that..Definitely a lot of money to be spent to fix it man, hate that for you, I've been there and it sucks. But hey at least you made it out

Re: Fix or part out?

even 2600 is cheap . really cheap . that thing needs a ton of work . new inner fender new rad support . frame rack time . then cut the quarter off ( you have to remove the glass to do this right ) fix the inner quarter then weld on a new outer quarter . fender hood trunk tail light and a good amount of time on the rack then paint it all not to mention all the other stuff , radiator , condenser , hood , lights and a good bit more . there is a lot there to fix .. 2600 is about half of what id expect a good honda certified repair shop to charge .

Re: Fix or part out?

damn. not worth fixing IMO. If you were keeping the car, or had a sentimental attachment maybe..... I'd call it a loss and start selling parts.

But yeah it looks like you tried to race King Kong and he didnt wanna lose.
