LOOKING TO BUY A NEW H22A4 ENGINE!

So my cars engine was diagnosed as "terminal" by a friend. After a missed shift I've had a bad tick/knock, which he says is coming from the block. after showing this to a dozen technicians they agree it's gonna explode! Anyways, this puts me on the market for a new motor. I need an H22a4 preferably with lower K's, mine is at 215xxx, and even before the tick of doom, it was consuming massive amounts of oil. Like seriously guys nearly 2 quarts between filling up the tank if I was VTEC-bro-ing a lot. So that's the second thing I need, low oil consumption. I can deal with a couple quarts between oil changes but I hate having to always have one eye on the dipstick. last but not least, my price range is under 1000 dollars for sure. if anyone has an engine around te Hamilton, KW, or Toronto region, let me know a we can talk business.

Thanks

you cant do sht with 1000$ - remember that you have to do little rebuild to the "new" engine too

Re: LOOKING TO BUY A NEW H22A4 ENGINE!

Fantastic answer. So I'm assuming you don't have an engine to sell? or maybe even a lead to a decent one? I have the ability/resources to get an engine prepped, but I cannot go that long without a vehicle, hence why I'm not jut rebuilding my old one without having another to drop in. BTW that's my plan for the old one, to rebuild it at my own pace.
