Low idle after new ECU P28

Changed my ECU from stock to a chipped ECU P28. Everything was smooth but have super low idle. Was told to disconnect IAVC and adjust the idle screw. Want to make sure thats the best thing to do before I do it. Also if so can anyone post a pic of the idle screw.
Thanks

Re: Low idle after new ECU P28

Where did you get the base map/ecu from? Who told you to unplug the IACV and adjust the screw?

The idle screw is kinda in the top left corner of the throttle body but it shouldn't need adjusting

Re: Low idle after new ECU P28

You can run it on a stock base map. But I have noticed when looking at the fuel and ignition maps of "performance" base maps I have received that its a p28 map with the ignition left alone and fuel maps adjusted to make it run. Complete crap

Got it from Advanced Ignition - OBD1 Conversion Harness

Re: Low idle after new ECU P28

Tune. But if you don't get one, adjust your idle for the time being if that's the only issue.

Idle screw is on the left of the throttle body flat head screw, turn it while your engine is idling. I believe left raises the idle, and right lowers it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong
