Need Help With Headlight Problem.

I have a 2001 Honda Prelude. Both my headlights went out and will not turn back on. Bought 2 news lights for them and they don't work either. Check the 20 Amp fuses under the hood and they are fine. Also Checked the lighting relay and it's putting out correctly. Is there something else I can do or that i'm missing?

As a side note, my high beams and sidelights are working correctly as well.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Drew

Re: Need Help With Headlight Problem.

Are they factory or aftermarket lights?

Do you have power at the bulbs themselves?

^^this. Seems to me if everything is working correctly that you have a wiring issue at some point that is causing a loss of power to the bulb.

Bingo. Start from the bulbs and work your way back. K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple, Stupid.

My light's are factory. I'm going to take it into my mechanic. I'll let ya know what it could be. I feel like it's something stupid I can't find. I guess we'll see.

Re: Need Help With Headlight Problem.

Sounds to me like the problem is in the steering colum.

Are your turn signals blinking fast? Side markers light up?

Re: Need Help With Headlight Problem.

I think maybe one of your wires stripped a little and was making contact with the body of the car or some metal part and it's making It go out. It happened to me before. Took me forever to figure that out. look at both very closely. Also if you have installed any new fog lights before that happened it could be that also. That happened to me also.
