throw out on a 98

alright guys my 84 craped out on me so i am looking at a 98 v-teck. only thing is it needs a throw out baring. what that gunna cost me i live in washington state. other than that the car is good. any help will be apriciated. thanks.
im loking at the car today around 7 probably.

And all USDM 5th gens have vtec.... it's nothing special.


clutch release bearing requires the transmission to be removed.... I recommend a new clutch - master cylinder and slave cylinder if going through the trouble.


How do you know that's the issue? It's not really an easy part to pinpoint being bad without tearing everything apart.


Price everything out on hondaautomotiveparts.com and find a reputable shop to do the work. Expect 800 or so when it's all said and done.

Might as well do the clutch too, and get the flywheel resurfaced, or new while you have the trans pulled, oh and the rear main seal
