clutch master cyl. leaking?

Ive had to swap out my clutch master cylinder 2 times already ever since i bought my Competition clutch stage 2...(within a year). will be my third after a little over a year and a few months. Is it a coincidence that im getting bad clutch master cylinders(autozones) or does the the stage 2 play a role in my clutch masters going bad? Just a little curious, any thoughts?

I do have lifetime warranty on the CM cylinder, but it gets annoying after a while.

I bought a autozone clutch m/c and it leaked like a mofo lol. I ended up going to pepboys and their m/c worked out pretty well, good luck. Deff buy oem if you can afford it

Re: clutch master cyl. leaking?

I have to ask - did you manually try to adjust anything or did you install it as the previous factory MC was?

Re: clutch master cyl. leaking?

Results. After the replacement of the clutch master, it was leaking even worse. Every time I push the clutch pedal down, The fluid would leak through the flare of my hardline on the clutch master (Very first time I replaced the CMC, I rounded off the nut on the line, but I now have flare wrenches, you live and learn and also one of the reasons why I bought a new line)... Took a chance and ordered rywire's SS hydraulic clutch line... Installed it within 15minutes after work. Been a little over a week, no leaks yet. I still haven't had the chance to actually really look to see how I should route the lines... any thoughts? When I do have time to route it, i'll end up taking off the old hardlines.
