Icon5 CEL fix after straight pipe

So yesterday I had my test pipe put on and the oxygen sensor that plugs into the cat was completely destroyed so I ordered a new on and its supposed to be here wednesday, I know not having an o2 sensor will trigger it but I went to get my codes and I got p0138, p0141, and p0136. What do I have to change because I'm super confused!

Well.... What are the codes for?

Help us help you. Go a little further into what the CEL's are for one by one, list them, and we will proceed from there.

I tried uploading pics but sadly I failed, they're all for bank 1 sensor 2 though. I guess that is the o2 sensor I'm missing so I'm going to wait until Wednesday and install the new one to see where that takes me

Re: CEL fix after straight pipe

You don't need to upload pics. When asking how to fix a cel, include the details of the cel

P0138 Secondary Heated Oxygen Sensor (Secondary HO2S) Circuit High Voltage

P0141 Secondary Heated Oxygen Sensor (Secondary HO2S) (Sensor 2) Heater Circuit Malfunction

P0136 Code O2 sensor Bank 1, Sensor 2

Install the o2 sensor with a defouler.

Where can I find a defouler? Not sure which one to use the prices range from $5-50

Angled O2 Simulator, Angled O2 Simulator clears p0420 / p0430 check engine light

I used this one and now im pulling a P0138 and P0136 on my 99 SH. This is the first time they came on since I just installed the defouler yesterday but hopefully they don't come back. Before I put the defouler on I replaced my o2 sensors for a P0420 code hoping that would fix it but it kept coming back that was like 1k miles back give or take and I just got a chance to put the defouler on with this result :(

Re: CEL fix after straight pipe

It's been so long since i've had a smaller exhaust I can't remember - but I think the straight ones work better. That angled defouler looks like it won't allow any exhaust gasses passing into the sensor

Do you let the car warm up prior to driving? That takes a big role in these 02 sensor codes....
