Want boost! Don't know how to!(article lol)

I have a 1998 Prelude and I fell in love with this car. I've always taken a liking to modifying the things I have to make them perform better. I recently took on an amazing job opportunity that presented me with more money than I could imagine(it's really not that much tho lol) just more than im used to. So, without boost in mind I bought rims, lowering springs, and a CF hood. Before these modifications I have an intake, fully replaced exhaust system, and a new set of NGK blue wires. So the history on my vehicle and reasons for buying the things I did.. The very first was of course, the intake. I got a little bit of money in my pocket and wanted something new, so I bought a KN Typhoon cold air intake. It was an impulse buy, much like all of my modifications. The second was the exhaust. My car was bought from Michigan and it had a severely rusted exhaust and fell off. My dad paid for a mechanic to put a generic, non performance cat back system.. I guess? The cat failed, and ruined the entire exhaust system. So, we needed a quick and cheap solution, (college)and I went to the notorious eBay. I got a full cat back exhaust for $80. Worst mistake of my life. I picked up a magna flow cat and a Megan racing header off of andys auto(previous header was welded to ruined exhaust). The carbon fiber hood was the result of ruined paint and a huge dent on the stock hood, and the cost of a carbon fiber hood to be slapped on versus a steel or fiber glass one to be paint made my choice a no brainer, plus it looks really cool with my black paint. I picked up the rims because I found the perfect set of rims that I absolutely loved. They are Mach M7 black/machined face. Everything else was planned and budgeted. And now, being that I'm 19, live at home with mom and dad with no bills, no school, a steady job, and my life on halt until I'm 21 because of my two career fields, I have decided I want to make my 2.2l whistle a little bit.. I guess that's a SC term? But oh well, bottom line, I want to make BOOST! Now, what I know is that I don't want stock internals, but I have no idea where to start or what to get. I know that my only two engine modifications are out the door because a boost system replaces that and I'm not worried about it. The only things I have found online is that I need a turbo, piping, BOV/wastegate, inter cooler, intake filter, dump pipe, and a form of engine management. And here is where all of you want to kill me... My car is an automatic.. It depresses me, but I don't know what prices in looking at and what kind of work is required to make it a five speed. And please don't bash me for any mistakes I've made because we are all human and learn somehow. Also, since I've made my decision to turbo, I've looked online at all kinds of videos and all kinds of articles and none of them seem to cover in depth enough how to turbo or anything like that. I've watched mighty car mods how to turbo videos, I've watched an auto to standard tranny swap video but it was on a really old truck and didn't require much wiring/computer work. Any responses are much appreciated and I would really love any information anyone has to say.. If I realize I missed some information I will gladly fill that in. Thanks in advance!

K I'll be honest, I didn't read any of that and I'm just responding strictly off your title;

So, you wanna go turbo, huh?

Suckomatic transmissions cannot take turbo.

Sell the prelude for a 5 speed base then start the turbo build with the above links.
